the program of the launch event includes a short poetry performance by .deralla, a speech by the authors, e-xhibition [screening] of .stojanovic’s visuals, as well as music from the cd.album.

the book is published by shortcut.production, an independent film production, arts and publishing company, with no financial support other than friends’ and authors’ own resources.

the themes of the published works in the malfunction.book and the cd.album include a variety of reflections on existence, human rights and peace.

ПРОЕКТОТ „КАЖИ НЕ НА ОРУЖЈЕТО“ Е ЗАВРШЕН, СОВЕТОТ ЗА РАДИОДИФУЗИЈА ДОЛЖИ ПАРИ НА ПРОДУКЦИЈАТА

Претседателот на Советот за радиодифузија на Република Македонија, Зоран Трајчевски изјавил дека: „Шорткат должи околу 26 илјади евра, а парите ги добила за проектот „Кажи не на оружјето““ – според објавеното во весникот Дневник (петок, 2 ноем. 2012). Во текстот под наслов „Ниту телевизиски проекти, ниту вратени пари“ (стр. 5) се наведуваат податоци добиени од претседателот на СРД, Трајчевски, од кои произлегува дека Шорткат продукцијата земала пари, а не испорачала проект.
Оваа информација не е точна! Претседателот на СРД тоа може лесно да го утврди со едноставна проверка на документацијата во Советот и да утврди дека проектот „Кажи не на оружјето“ (Кажи ДА за животот) е завршен и дека сите забелешки и корекции побарани од СРД се спроведени.
Проектот се состои од 30 епизоди во кои се зборува за теми од областа на контролата на оружјето и претставува значаен придонес кон напорите за надминување на култот кон оружјето во нашата земја. Проектот е подготвен за емитување подолго време. Тажно е ваков проект да стои затворен во документацијата на СРД во време кога земјата страда од високо развиен култ кон оружјето и оруженото насилство секојдневно ги полни црните хроники.
Продукцијата го тужи Советот за радиодифузија за доплата на остатокот од договорениот износ за проектот.

PROJEKTI “THUAJI JO ARMËS” ËSHTË I KRYER, KËSHILLI I RADIODIFUZIONIT I KA BORXH PRODUKSIONIT

Kryetari i Këshillit të Radiodifuzionit të Republikës së Maqedonisë Zoran Trajçevski ka deklaruar se “Shortkat ka borxh prej rreth 26 mijë euro, ndërsa paratë i ka marrë për projektin ‘Thuaji jo armës’” – shkruan gazeta “Dnevnik” të premten, më 2 nëntor. Në tekstin me titull “As projekte televizive, as paratë s’janë kthyer” (f. 5) jepen të dhënat e marra nga kryetari i KRD Trajçevski, nga të cilat rezulton se produksioni Shortkat ka marrë para, ndërsa nuk e ka realizuar projektin.
Këto informata janë të pasakta! Kryetari i KRD-së këtë mund ta konfirmojë lehtë me një kontroll të thjeshtë të dokumentacionit në Këshill dhe të shohë se projekti “Thuaji jo armës” (Thuaj PO për jetën) është i kryer dhe se të gjitha vërejtjet dhe korrigjimet e kërkuara nga KRD janë bërë.
Projekti përbëhet nga 30 epizode në të cilat flitet për tema nga fusha e kontrollit të armëve dhe paraqet kontribut të rëndësishëm në përpjekjet për mposhtjen e kultit të armëve në vendin tonë. Projekti është i gatshëm për emetim tashmë një kohë të gjatë. Është mëkat që një projekt i tillë të qëndrojë i mbyllur në dokumentacionin e KRDsë në një kohë kur vendi vuan nga kulti tepër i zhvilluar ndaj armëve dhe dhuna me armë përditë i mbush kronikat e zeza.
Produkcioni Shortkat ka ngritur padi kundër Këshillit të Radiodifuzionit për vonimin e pagesës së borxhit të mbetur për realizimin e projektit.

SAY NO TO GUNS PROJECT IS FINISHED, THE BROADCASTING COUNCIL OWES MONEY TO THE PRODUCTION

The President of the Broadcasting Council of the Republic of Macedonia, Zoran Trajchevski stated that “Shortcut owes around 26 thousand euro, and the money is received for the Say No to Guns project” – according to the daily Dnevnik (Friday, Nov. 2, 2012). In the article “Neither television projects, nor money returned” (pg. 5) the newspaper publishes information received from the President of the Broadcasting Council, which imply that the Shotcut Production has taken money, but didn’t deliver a project.
This information is not correct! The President of the Broadcasting Council can easily learn this from a simple check in the Council’s documentation and make sure that the project Say No to Guns (Say Yes to Life) is finished and that all remarks and corrections required from the Council are implemented.
The Say No to Guns (Say Yes to Life) project consists of 30 episodes about arms control issues and represents an important contribution to the efforts to overcome gun culture in the country. It is sad that a project of this kind remains closed in the documentation of the Broadcasting Council in times when the country is suffering from highly spread gun culture and the armed violence is filling the crime sections of the press.
The Broadcasting Council is the one that owes money. The Shortcut Production sues the Broadcasting Council to pay the remaining amount, according to the contract.
